And this Time?

This piece is the emblem for Art for Darfur, gracing the postcards and the posters.  I think it embodies what I think about the situation.  That as dire and unconscionable the situation is, there is still hope, no matter how small.

This piece has the same sad air as And this Time? However, there is more of a sense that the situation will never improve and all that is left to do is lament.
