This was a project that I turned in with a paper I had written on Lichtenstein.  I was making my own version of Pop Art, not focusing on the comic like dot nature but using bold and large spaces of color.  My message was also more political than Lichtenstein is known for.

This painting was done after the cloth dying series of the same image.  I wanted to see how dye and paint were similar and different.  This comparison is better seen on the thumbnails page.
