One of the few instances where I have a male subject, this painting
embodies a sense of calm and reflection as well as longing and
nostalgia. This painting is
also special because its one of my few oil pieces. |
Taken from the cover of a National Geographic issue, this painting was a study in human form, focusing on line and shading. This is my rendition of one of my all time favorite photographs. The woman, poised and contemplative, seems to conceal so many emotions. She also exemplifies feminine beauty. |
